Rosalind Guder is at the forefront of reinventing fashion portraiture! By partnering with a fashion house that provides one-of-a-kind wardrobe to the top singers, models, and celebrities who come from all parts of the world for their red-carpet gowns or performance costumes, Rosalind uses precision lighting to sculpt her subjects for her coveted, dramatic looks.
This evening workshop is a demonstration of sculpting with light. Whether your vision is for a simply-lit composition or a sculpted, multi-light look, Rosalind will show how she creates her favorite precision lighting designs.

ABOUT ROSALIND GUDER: CPP, M.Photog., Cr. Photog., MPP
Rosalind Guder is an internationally award-winning celebrity & portrait photographer and educator in Los Angeles. A native of Toronto, she began in the fashion world designing for Maggie Reeves, where she also happened upon (and then promptly forgot) the bespoke portrait photography of Yousuf Karsh. From there, she transitioned into the corporate world until she moved to Los Angeles in 1999. In 2013, Rosalind received her first camera and began to study photography on her own. In late 2019, she studied with Master Photographer Erich Caparas and began her professional photography career, winning some of the most prestigious awards in the industry, including ASP’s Images of Distinction and Diamond Medalist Photographer of the Year at PPA. In 2020, she joined forces with For the Stars, the celebrated Hollywood fashion house with a 36-year pedigree of creating haute couture gowns and costumes for top performing artists, models and celebrities throughout the world. With this new partnership, Rosalind comes full circle, combining high-end fashion with bespoke photography, giving her clients access to an archive of one-of-a-kind, avant-garde wardrobe for their own masterpiece portraits.
Rosalind is a Certified Professional Photographer and holds five Masters degrees, including M. Photog. and Cr. Photog. degrees from Professional Photographers of America and an MPP in Fine Art Portraits from Master Photographers International. She teaches portrait photography and advanced Photoshop. A former member of Team USA, she currently represents Canada at World Photographic Cup. She was also recently named Fashion Photographer of the Year at MPI International Imaging Competition, sweeping the Top 3 for the category!
